Each One Reach One Child is partnering with Veterans Life Changing Service, Inc., a community organization offering residential and compensated work transitional programs for Northwest Indiana veterans and their families. This work therapy transitional program is modeled after similar programs run by the Department of Veterans Affairs which operate in over 150 locations around the country. VLCS is headed by Dr. Henry Hitchcock, a disabled veteran who served in the Marine Corp in the Vietnam War. Dr. Hitchock knows first hand the stress and other hardships that veterans deal with upon returning home from war. Dr. Hitchcock has over 20 years of experience serving our nation's veterans as he served as a Program Coordinator for the Veterans Administration in Palo Alto, CA. He was instrumental in assisting and training veterans in vocation skills and qualifying them for benefits.
